Re: Extension for the Rotterdam Hoofdorgel Sample-set

Jake:
I am enjoying The Extension.
Earlier this evening, I noticed that the 32' Swell Bombarde is not listed in the Organ Settings: Rank Voicing Screen.
Thought that I'd let you know.

Best!

Re: Extension for the Rotterdam Hoofdorgel Sample-set

Jake,

I've used it daily for the past two weeks, and the set is magnificent. In your next update, may I suggest adding a kitchen sink stop? At that point, the extension set would be truly complete. (:>

Many thanks; it was well worth the wait!

Re: New Features for Caen Sampleset

Jake,
That is indeed exciting news. I will be eagerly awaiting further developments.
We have recently retired to southern Arizona and I have plenty of free time to do beta-testing if you need a volunteer.
Many thanks for the reply!

Re: New Features for Caen Sampleset

Hi, Jake!
I was wondering if the Rotterdam project is still alive. One of my favourite sample sets and the stoplist you were kicking around would play just about anything. Just wondering. Thanks!

Re: Sydney Opera House organ builder dies

Jerry, Thx for the response. The organ is big .... 38 tonnes. The 4 largest 32' pipes weigh 6 tonnes .... does this mean each? or together? Stephen Stephen, Most certainly together. I was a high school student when that organ was built and remember the front-page article in The Diapason. Quite an ...

Re: Win 10 update 2004 released today (eom)

Thanks, Ed and Martin! I do have the 1909 bios update from MSI. Did some tweaking very late last night and then left Latency Mon running with Hauptwerk up and the Rotterdam organ loaded. After six hours I'm still all in bright green (highest measured interrupt 317.0; highest reported DPL execution ...

Re: Win 10 update 2004 released today (eom)

I have had the 2004 update installed and running for a couple of hours on my Hauptwerk computer (i7-5820K, MSI X-99A motherboard, 128 Gb RAM). If you are currently running a 1903 or 1909 update, and (like I was) experiencing a continuous heavy stream of CPU spikes, you may find the 2004 update to be ...

I am most interested to know how this update affects CPU spikes. The 1909 update was a freaking mess. Ed, many thanks to you for starting this thread!

Re: MDA Mt Carmel skinner (wet) issues

Tom, I just clicked the two unidentified rocker switches and enabled the wind supply. Everything seems to work just fine. Except I have to actually practice now and can't mess around with the thing. I am hoping that applying a slight amount of additional reverb will make for a more pleasant sound ...

Disabled the wind supply and tuning is fine. Thanks for sorting this out.
