Milan Digital Audio website down?

The Milan Digital Audio website has been down for several days now.

The Forum goes down regularly; the Hauptwerk main site is sometimes uber slow.

Whenever it happens it makes me worried that Hauptwerk and the company behind it is going to disappear...

For as many years as the web site and the forum have had chronic outages, I wouldn't take it as a sign of imminent doom for the company or Hauptwerk. The hosting for these sites (forum, hauptwerk.com, and milandigitalaudio.com) is handled by a different team than Hauptwerk development. I'm not making excuses for them, but this just keeps happening year after year, and it hasn't prevented the Hauptwerk software itself from being improved regularly.

Thanks for letting us know.

I've just checked, and the main Hauptwerk website does seem to be working properly for me (from the UK) today, although it's a bit slow at the moment. If it sill doesn't seem to be working for you, perhaps try refreshing your browser's cache of the relevant page (e.g. Ctrl+F5 in Firefox).

The Milan Digital Audio site is still down.

I think it's been working all week, and I just checked again and it appears to be working now, so perhaps try again now (and maybe refresh your browser's cache). Perhaps it was just being a bit slow, or you were unlucky when you checked.

It's getting this message from my Firefox browser here in Georgia, US:

"Secure site not available
Most likely, the website simply does not support HTTPS.
However, it’s also possible that an attacker is involved. If you continue to the website, you should not enter any sensitive info. If you continue, HTTPS-Only mode will be turned off temporarily for the site."

Chrome and Duck Duck Go browsers just time out eventually.

Chrome sometimes also says that "the web site can't be verified". Maybe the certificate expired.

UPDATE: And now it's working again.
