Speakers for <£200

PostTue Jan 20, 2004 10:27 am

I'm just in the process of spec'ing a new PC to run Hauptwerk, and I need to decide what sound card and speakers to go for. It will be a general purpose PC in addition to use the Hauptwerk, so I was thinking of a 4:1 or 5:1 soundcard e.g. Audigy2.

But I'm not sure what to do about speakers. I've read Charles Braund's thread on the Logictech 560s. Does anyone else have any thoughts.
Oh yes, budget is <£200.

If you have a good HiFi system for hearing music (i have a 5.1 dolby surround system) you can use the line output e.g. audigy 2 to get a real great sound. If i make it loud the whole street can here it :-)) .
