Name of the piece in the free edition?

Name of the piece in the free edition?

PostWed Jun 04, 2014 1:13 pm

Hi,

I am new to this forum and I have enjoyed many hours of using the St. Annes Hauptwerk 4 Edition. As I first opened it up, one of the things that I really liked was the demo piece, which I believe is a midi file. I wasn't able to find the name of the piece as I scanned this forum. Anybody know? Thanks,

Riley

Hello Riley,

It was an improvisation by U.K. organist Daniel Cook, which he did specifically for us as a demo for the sample set. Daniel's a very talented chap! It hasn't been transcribed as far as I know, although you could potentially open the MIDI file in a MIDI sequencer or scoring application, if you wanted to try playing it yourself.
Best regards, Martin.
