Perhaps some of you already know these videos. An informative demonstration of two colossal English organs:

St Paul's Cathedral, London

Anglican Cathedral, Liverpool

Hope you enjoy!

There are now 14 DVDs in the Priory "Grand Organ" series - and they are all excellent!

Thank you for sharing these links. Very informative indeed.
I keep asking myself why my lifelong passion is the pipe organ. Many interests have come and gone, but the pipe organ has always remained. I lived in Great Britain for 14 years and got to see and hear, and sometimes play, many British organs. When I started to travel, I always tried to include a European organ to visit. Living in the United States for most of my life, my only connection to European organs was through recordings, etc. Hearing these organs live was always an eye opening experience. Recordings can never do them justice.
My passions always gravitated from one style of organ building to another, until I came to the conclusion that I do not really have a favorite. The pipe organ is in a constant state of evolution and I think this is what makes it so interesting.

I have included the link below. It is an interesting and informative about the history of French organ building.

Thank you! I watched that video few weeks ago. Absolutely recommendable, I enjoyed it very much!
There is a funny moment when Bertrand Cattiaux says that the organ in Notre-Dame de Paris sounds better than the Saint-Sulpice one…
