Hi Ed,
We thought that it would be great fun for people who enjoy VTPO :) I have no idea if anyone else has done something like this, so maybe it is a first too.

Have fun!

Do demo versions exist for the allowed VTPO's?

If so, how may one go about acquiring demo copies, even if they are restricted in playing time and/or stop selection?

I would like to try my hand at furnishing four VTPO pieces for the upcoming competition.

Cheers,

Hi Joe,

The Barton Series, Freedom Morton Series, and Robert Morton Opus 2401 Series are all available as donationware. You can download them for free - and if you're able to make a donation towards the work that went into making them then great, if not, no worries.

Go to https://sites.google.com/site/meltonesoundssa/home to find more information about all those VTPO organs and their ordering pages :)

Kind regards,

Hello Graham,

I had no idea that such a concept (if donationware VTPOs) existed. As soon as I get home from work today, I shall begin acquiring some of these instruments; will definitely be entering the contest.

Cheers,

Joe

There have only been a couple of responses to the competition, so I'm extending the dates of phase one for another month (until Friday the 4th of May). There have been a few questions about how to record audio and MIDI in Hauptwerk, so I'm working on a tutorial that will show how it's done. I'll post a link to that once it's uploaded
