A busy time of year!

As a tech-nerd who doesn't play organ seriously allow me to extend wishes for many, many blessings to those tireless organists who have been busy this week and will do more this Easter weekend.

Many thanks for that! Halfway through the four day organ playing marathon.

Easter vigil tomorrow evening. I’ll finish up on Sunday morning with Widor’s Toccata, then head home for Sunday lunch and a siesta!

Happy Easter to you, to all fellow organists and to the wonderful people who developed Hauptwerk and run this very useful forum.

I still love my 1914 William Hill pipe organ at church though.

I’m stuck with the Hallelujah chorus. Of which I am thoroughly tired. And I’m not that fond of our 1926 Casavant with several mechanical problems you have to work around. Not enough money currently to repair everything.

My twin brother is on an organ committee which is trying to decide what to do with a good sized Casavant and has been letting me know how little rework can be had for hundreds of thousands of dollars. You have my sympathy.

Thanks, John. My schedule is light compared to most, but I'll be glad when it's all over tomorrow afternoon. By the way, I wow'ed a lot of people last night with the Rosales nearly full tutti at the end of the Tenebrae service.
