Hauptwerk dynamical tuning

Postby Vadline » Tue Sep 18, 2018 6:27 pm

Hi,

My question is about dynamical tuning of Hauptwerk.

I want to implement just intonation scale with realtime root note shifting (analog of Hermode tuning). Also I want to use 15-step scale, also with dynamic root note changing. For now it seems for me not possible to make it on the Hauptwerk instruments:
If I want to control Root note by midi CC messages, there is not Root note parameter in Hauptwerk. (A transposition parameter is not same: it shifts all keys to one EDO step, but not on the specific scale step. Also it shifts pressed notes, but must to keep it without changes and shift only next pressed notes after root key has been changed.)

If I want to make all tuning operations by 3rd party soft, Hauptwerk haven't responce for pitch band messages..

Is there any solution?

May be not such many people, but for other organs manufactures this feature is implemented and quite useful:

there is even acoustic organ with dynamical tuning ability:

And, If Hauptwerk already able to handle XML tuning file, ability to play pure chords in a different tonalities in one musical piece is quite logical development of its capabilities, don't you?
