So as not to derail this current topic/thread (posting) -

but based on Les' very interesting comment -
I played a concert once in a church in the San Francisco Bay Area that had two Rodgers organs - one in the chancel and one in the rear gallery - configured in this way. It worked pretty well. I could play the gallery organ from the chancel console and get each effects from the two speaker systems.
I started a new topic which is a 'Theme and Variation' on this, that being the 2 consoles of the Crystal Cathedral - Garden City, California (now the Christ Cathedral) both playing the huge single Hazel Wright organ:

And then again a variation on the Hazel Wright organ - 2 organists playing (as a duet) on the same console:

This Hazel Wright organ is actually a combination (joined together) of 2 separate organs envisioned by Virgil Fox. An E M Skinner instrument

and a Ruffatti instrument.

As a general discussion topic, it has. in the past. been a topic here of playing 2 sample set organs from the same console using 2 computers with 2 Hauptwerk software licenses and each computer 'playing' a separate sample set. I have tried this using my extra H/W license, etc. For control of each organ I set up 2 touch screens,,,,,, So it is doable, but after doing it once, decided to go back to a more conventional single organ setup. But if you had 2 separated audio systems, I could envision some pretty neat, interesting effects. (I sometimes do things just to see if it can be done).
I think I remember member (late) Leo Chris (Chris 037) doing this double organ thing in his setup as well.
