L/R/Rear ranks & tuning

PostWed Jan 09, 2019 11:51 am

Several sample sets have 4 ranks for one stop: front links, front right, rear links and rear right. In this case, if we wish to rectify the tuning of a pipe, we have to change the setting of 4 ranks. In the original temperament, this annoying work is preserved once and for all. But using another temperament, the random tuning is working and causes a disorder between the 4 ranks of the same pipe. And putting the setting of the random tuning to zero makes your sample set sounding like an electronic organ. This is the big problem with all the sample sets without original temperament available. Does anyone have any thought about how to manage this situation?
