HW6 and wind question

PostTue Dec 01, 2020 5:20 pm

I have the new pitch shifting enabled, I have tried this on the Metz and the SP AeS with 20, 24 and 48 bit loads, and 48 and 96 output rates. I've tried 1024 and 2048 poly, usually sticking with 1 audio buffer.

Going from 5 > 6, I think I'm experiencing some kind of wind related anomaly. With tutti registrations, hitting fast passages (and the reverb/surround encoding included with the samples) it's like the pipes aren't speaking quick enough. But slowing down your tempo doesn't seem to help, but it's hard to tell because slowing your tempo lowers the poly needed... Right?
