Got error attempting to "Send" a suggestion using the form

PostTue Dec 22, 2020 8:02 pm

Per the sticky note in the Suggestions and Enhancements area of the forum, I opened the "Make a suggestion" form by following Brett's hyperlink, and completed the form. Upon hitting the "Send" button, after about 3 elapsed seconds, I got back the error "There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later." This repeated a few moments later. I was not explicitly logged in to the forum at the first attempt.

Hello Bob,

I tested with Chrome and Edge (on PC) and it worked. When I tested with Edge I wasn't connected to the Hauptwerk.com and Forum accounts. Please try again and let me know.
Best regards

Eventual success. I'd left the session up with the pre-filled form in place for several hours, saw your message, hit send again. The little "in-process" icon spun for several minutes before I gave up. I did a browser "page reload", which presented me a blank form - I re-entered the data, and this time the send worked. My browser is Firefox (latest patch) under Windows 10.

Apologies if this resulted in multiple posts - not intentionally spamming you
Cheers, Bob
