There is an excellent article in the New York Times about the efforts to restore the sound of Notre Dame as it is being rebuilt after the fire. The article has interactive features that demonstrate the sound in various locations. One example allows the reader to change the shape of a room and hear the difference it makes in the sound.
While none of the examples feature the organ, it is, nonetheless, something that most organists will relate to.
