Dear Hauptwerk Friends:

We are pleased to announce that the video recordings of the Sterling Organ House 2023 Pipespectacular Concert are now available on YouTube. The concert was performed by Dylan David Shaw at 4:00pm on March 25, 2023. Dylan is the Assistant Grand Court Organist at Macy's (formerly Wanamaker's) in City Center Philadelphia. He presides over the largest fully-playable organ in the world in concerts 5 times a week. He also gives weekly concerts on the soon-to-be-the-largest-organ-in-the-world in Boardwalk Auditorium in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

For his Sterling Organ House performance, Dylan used the Sonus Paradisi sample set of the Reuter Organ Opus 227 at Temple Beth Israel in Portland Oregon.

The concert is presented on our YouTube channel in 3 videos:
1. Video 025 – Introduction to the Pipespectacular Concert. In this slideshow video you will make a virtual visit to Temple Beth Israel in Portland, Oregon, and learn about the Reuter Organ Opus 227 featured in our concert. The concert printed program is shown at the end of video.
2. Video 026 – Pipespectacular Concert - Part 1. This video shows the first half of the concert.
3. Video 027 – Pipespectacular Concert - Part 2. This video shows the second half of the concert.

To view, please visit our YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/@sterlingorganhouse. There you can click on the videos to view them and also see what other offerings are posted. Thank you!

As always, this concert was recorded live in the room using the Golden Ears Microphone Array designed and built by Kevin Sterling. You see and hear just what the audience heard with no post-processing, no artificial enhancements, and without the feeling of being "plugged into a computer" that plagues typical studio recordings using Hauptwerk. Our goal is to bring you as close to our living room as possible, unless of course you choose to actually attend our concerts in person!
