Classic HW Console and extended Haverhill OIC @ SW CRE

Postby dhm on Tue Jan 27, 2009 6:03 pm

Any Hauptwerkians within reach of Exeter (Devon, UK, not New Hampshire) are invited to come see us on Stand A10 at the Southwest Christian Resources Exhibition at the Westpoint Centre on Thursday/Friday/Saturday this week. For opening times and more info, please see http://creonline.co.uk/SouthWest09

We will have a Classic MIDI Works Hauptwerk console and a selection of sample sets, mostly from MDA, OAM and Lavender Audio, including - with many thanks to David Butcher! - an extended version of the Haverhill OIC set.

Looking forward to seeing some of you there.

Douglas.

Douglas, you might want to edit out the full stop after the link - it stops it working. I'm afraid it is a bit far for a day trip from Scotland, but I would love to hear the extended OIC. Presumably David will tell us about it soon.

Thanks, Iain - I've edited out the full stop.
As regards Haverhill - this isn't THE promised extended version, it's a somewhat extended version which David is kindly putting together for this event. There is still more work to do on it.

Best wishes,
Douglas.

Hi Iain,

As Douglas suggests, it's still very much work in progress ... what he has is missing a lot of what the final version will hopefully end up having.

I'll be able to give more details about the extended set in February once I have a better idea of what works and what doesn't. It should be a worthwhile addition to the original Haverhill organ and run to over 50 stops.

Projected release date is some time in April if all goes according to plan.

Hi David - I'm sure there's a lot of people eagerly awaiting the extension to this already very popular sample set. You've set yourself a very high standard to keep, so I'm sure it will be well worth the wait.

p.s. You might want to stick your website address in your profile details so your posts will include the "www" link in your signature. Might generate a few more sales!
