Ah... improvisation made for the mere mortal! Something in a musical structure that I can understand, something musical... :wink:

For me it is more impressive to have someone improvising something like that rather than something that sounds like Messiaen on acid :shock:

Thank you for the link - this is one of my favourite instruments - which I'm sorry to say I've never heard in the flesh. I actually made it to Würzburg one summer about 5 years ago and - short on German vocabulary for describing what I wanted to see - I was directed to the wrong place by one of the locals, visited the wrong church and left, not understanding why the Klais wasn't there! :shock: It wasn't until I got home a week or so later and looked at the map that I discovered that I'd walked in completely the wrong direction and ended up in what I think was the Fransiscan church! D'oh! :oops:

Very impressive improvisation on a very impressive instrument. One day I'll go back and hear it for myself...
