Default Temperament

Is it possible to define a default temperament for a sample set?

Hello Chris,

No -- that isn't possible. Sorry.
Best regards,
Martin.

Wow! This was fast! But I expected this answer  I was hoping that there may be an undocumented parameter. But this is not a major issue!

Thanks a lot!

How does HW decide, which temperament is used, when an organ is first loaded. Is always Equal?

Hello Chris,

The first time any given organ is loaded the temperament will be defaulted to:

- For a CODM-compiled organ definition: equal temperament.

- For a general 'full-format' organ definition (not compiled by the CODM): original organ tuning if the organ definition allows it, otherwise equal temperament.
Best regards,
Martin.
