3 channel audio out

PostSun Nov 03, 2013 12:42 pm

Multichannel loudspeakers.

I have sampled my continuo organ, because it is a heavy affair to transport the instrument.

So for rehearsals I thought to bring only a hauptwerk version with keyboard, amp and three loudspeakers.

Three, because we perform on a= 465 or 415 in ¼ comma meantone.

I tried to find out how to program HW with three audio channels, to overcome intermodulation distorsion in the meantone thirds with following division:

Channel 1: c, c#, f#, b
Channel 2: d#, e, f, a#
Channel 3: d, g, g#, a

But I do not see any possibility to arrange such a division, did I overlook something or is this not easily done?

Any ideas?

This is one of my favorites. I run six channels to Reaper and then mix 1&2, 3&4, and 5&6. You can experiment with whether or not to cycle the octaves and ranks.

EDIT: I see our schemes aren't identical, but the same method applies.
