Engaging stops with more than one control

PostMon Nov 16, 2015 4:58 pm

Hello,

is it possible to engage and disengage stops with more than one control on the same page.

I am trying to simulate a console, which has normal stops knobs and a toe piston, which activates (but not deactivates) a group of stops simultaneously. Can this behavior be emulated in a CODM?

Best,
Chris

For the specific case of toggling a single stop from a piston you could use a ShortcutPiston object.

It isn't possible to make a piston solely within the CODM that turns stops on but not off, or that toggles multiple stops simultaneously.

However, the user could use Hauptwerk's master reversibles and/or master scoped combinations to achieve similar effects. (In general, to keep things acceptably simple, in general the CODM doesn't attempt to duplicate functionality that the master combinations provide.)
Best regards, Martin.

Hello Martin,

Thanks for the fast answer. This feature is definitively not existential. It would have been just fun to implement this feature in order to be as close to the original as possible.

Best,
Chris
