Moving voicing data into ODF

PostTue Sep 13, 2016 3:17 pm

Hello HW pros!

Has anybody a smart tool, which allows to poke voicing data into an ODF and which he is willing to share? I created a script, but this is far from being perfect. It nicely reads the ODF and configuration file into 2 R data frames, performs the required calculations and exports the result into the node „Pipe_SoundEngine01_Layer“. This node must then manually be copied into the ODF. The script requires only free tools, which are available for many platforms (the statistical program R with some additional libraries). However, the script is very slow as it exports every single line of XML code one after the other, and — as mentioned before — finally requires some hand work.

Alternatively a tool, which exports a MySQL database into a HW compatible ODF, would help as well — in fact, would be even better. I developed another R script, which imports the ODF into a MySQL database, but I have currently no idea, how to export the MySQL database to a HW compatible XML file.

Anybody, who is interested in my tools, should drop me a private message.

Best,
Chris

Hello Al,

I gave it a try. It works perfectly and is blazingly fast! I like the support files.

Again, thank you very much!

Best,
Christoph
