CODM User Guide Bookmarks

PostSat Feb 07, 2009 2:39 pm

Just a brief note to inform those that use the CODM that the v. 3.20 CODM user guide now contains bookmarks in the .pdf for each important section. This allows you to quickly browse through the guide without having to scroll through each page to find what you are after.

We also plan do add this functionality to the main Hauptwerk user guide for the next version of Hauptwerk.

When opening the .pdf be sure to click the Bookmark tab on the left side of Adobe Reader which will open the list of links within the guide.

We hope this helps users and gets you the information you need more quickly than before.

One improvement that would be useful when going from one version of the CODM manual to another is some kind of marking or flagging of changed lines in the document. This way, one could only print the pages that contain changes instead of the whole document. Of course, if a large number of pages have changed, this would not be really useful.

You can view any changes to Hauptwerk and the CODM in the latest release notice here:

Then by navigating via bookmarks in the .pdf you should be able to see any new changes relating to the release notice text.
