The CODM and HW v4.0

PostTue Feb 02, 2010 10:46 am

Hi Brett and Martin,

I'm about to start in on a fairly large HW CODM instrument. I assume that when version 4 comes along my CODMS's will still work fine(?).

Is there any reason I maybe should wait for v4.0 before starting in on this?

As always, thanks for everything you have given us all! :D

Hello Leo,

Yes - v4 will be backwardly-compatible with v3 ODF (organ definition files) formats, including the CODM ODF format.

Is there any reason I maybe should wait for v4.0 before starting in on this?

No - there's no reason to wait for v4.
Best regards, Martin.
