Lighting control via MIDI

PostSun Aug 21, 2016 6:03 am

can be done with:

A friend is creating a man cave theatre organ room and wants to control room lighting effects via his more than he needs for organ control thumb pistons. I have one these relay output boards to do other things and can attest to it working very well. 8)

I might add, these people offer a wide range of control products. In addition to the above relay output board, there is available a similar board with SCR dimmer capability up to 5 amps. Hook one of these up to the seldom ever used crescendo pedal and dim your room lights, is that cool? :o

even control via Ethernet:

Now to stop dreaming and start doing. :)

Hi Ed, I just checked online to be sure, MidiBotique.com also makes a number of relay type PC boards, that are Midi output controlled, but they do not allow for Dimming as far as I know !
