Pierre's LaunchPads

Have you seen: https://youtu.be/jSGmFtVaizQ?t=19

Nicely labeled also. 8) Wonder what the little screen under the lower organ manual is for? The lowest manual is a keyboard (piano manual). Great thumb usage.

I think the 'little screen' goes with the piano manual (lowest).

Does anyone know how he labeled his Launcpads? There is a good video shot of them at the very beginning of this clip:

Looks like individual clear labels?

Hello Fellow Haupwerkians,

Pierre and I are very good friends. He generously gave me six Mk1 Launchpads after he purchased newer versions. We have had many exchanges regarding Launchpad overlays. What seems to work best is to print sheets on translucent vellum paper. Using the dim/bright Hauptwerk settings, vellum produces the best visibility under various lighting conditions. I have attached clear transparency sheets to the Launchpads with Velcro and simply slide the sheets for a particular organ under the transparencies. I will share the sheets I use for the P450 and Graham Goode's Wonder Morton: These Excel files can be modified to suit individual requirements.

I've noticed that Pierre's earlier posts showed a bottom keyboard that is more than 61 notes (88 perhaps?) but his newer posts show a stack of four 61 note keyboards. Does anyone know if in his newer setup he still uses the Garritan Steinway piano, and does he still use the launch pads? LOVE his music, by the way! I'm glad he and Steve Schlesiing are good friends as well, they are both tremendous musicians.
