Fatar keyboard parts available?

PostFri Dec 22, 2017 3:03 am

Is there a source for the flexible rubber contact strips? There rest of the keyboard is fine, just the conductive material is wearing out on a friend's instrument.

May have found an answer to my question:

https://www.midi-store.com/fatar-kurzweil-keyboard-parts-s/2070.htm?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIuoDs-J2d2AIVXLXACh2HaQhjEAAYAyAAEgJ-evD_BwE

Edit: didn't find the correct contacts here.

Hi Ed,

I think that DF is the diode orientation and not the model number, with DF meaning Diode Forward. The model number should start with letters usually TP. Also if the Fatar is part of an instrument like a Yamaha or Studio logic, you will probably need to go back through the manufacturer to get the correct parts. I was told by one US parts company that they would need to receive the old part before they could sell me a new bubble strip. They also told me they would not sell a Fatar keybed under any circumstances.

If it is a 61TP/6 or/60 then get the parts from Classic Midi Works.
