Retailers for MIDI-ready keyboards and pedals

PostTue Jun 25, 2019 10:27 pm

Just wondering if anyone has a list of suitable retailers who sell midi-ready keyboards and pedal boards? I'm aware of Midiworks in Canada, but I'm sure there are more. I live in Australia.
Thanks for your help.

In the UK:

http://www.organworks.co.uk/

I believe this company built a Hauptwerk organ for the BBC, but I have no direct experience of their work.

I'm hoping there will be further replies, as I'm thinking about a keyboard with second touch built in for theatre organ playing. When I last enquired this was quite expensive - around £1,000 - but I think I read a post somewhere on this forum from an English company that might not be quite so expensive.

Have you tried googling “organ consoles for Hauptwerk”? I got quite a few links that look helpful.

They did indeed - see here: http://www.organworks.co.uk/news/bbc/
I think I'm right in saying that their consoles are usually built by Renatus, who do excellent work.
(Paul Kuzan, please correct me if I'm wrong.)
