3D Printed mpc32mq enclosure

PostThu Oct 15, 2020 10:50 am

Has anyone had any luck 3d printing an enclosure for the mpc32mq MIDI Encoder from MidiBoutique? I'm about to start modelling and was wondering if there's anything I need to look out for.

I haven’t. I have, however, CNCd an acrylic enclosure for the MGB MIDI over RS485 Balun set.

Idk if this is at all useful to you.... but I’d be curious to know what 3D printer you have, as I’m interested in getting one.

You can also buy a Hammond box. Hammond manufacturing makes plastic boxes for almost every size of circuit board, and they are fairly inexpensive.

John Kinkennon uses a Creality CR-6 SE 3D printer and usually does a good job researching such things.
