M-Audio Keystation II - Transport/Directional Buttons?

PostTue Feb 27, 2024 6:54 pm

Has anyone figured out how to use the little directional and other buttons on the top of the M-Audio keyboard to send MIDI messages to Hauptwerk? They don't even register in Midi-OX.

If they don't register in Midi-ox, then they can't be used in Hauptwerk. The hardware uses it for its own purposes, but those buttons don't broadcast a midi signal.

I have a Cakewalk A-500PRO. The keyboard comes with a mapping editor where you can define the midi messages yourself. But I don't need it because most of the keys and controls send a midi message. Perhaps there is also an editor for your keyboard.
