DVI-D to VGA Converter

PostFri Mar 15, 2024 9:09 am

Hello,
One of my two touch screens often loses its touch function. To diagnose the fault, it would be more logical to start by checking the connections, but the computer is very difficult to reach as it is enclosed in the console. In order to determine whether the screen is to blame, I prefer to try swapping my two screens first. But to do that, I’m going to have to buy a DVI-D female to VGA male converter. I’ve noticed that there are two types: for the analogue signal and for the digital signal. Which do you think I should choose?

My experience of losing the touch screen function is it might be coming to the and of its life. I found that I could make it last longer by briefly removing its power. Just introduce a switch in a spare USB lead

The touch function has nothing whatever to do with the graphics connecter (e.g. VGA or DVI)..
It is dependent only on the USB connection.

Digital. Even if your video card was able to put out analog (which is now unlikely), your monitor wouldn't know what to do with it.
