Windows 8.1 Touchscreendriver corrupt

PostSun Mar 11, 2018 5:55 pm

Hey! Since the last Windows update (WIN8.1.64) the USB driver for my touch-screens isn't working anymore (Code 10). I'll have to reset 8.1 then. Luckily, Windows has its own SSD. Does anyone also have this problem topical?

If a driver is updated, you can do a roll back for that driver
From the Start Screen search for "Device manager".
Go to the Display adapter and open it by selecting the > sign before the image.
On the adapter right click and choose for properties
Go to the Driver tab and click on 'Roll back driver'

For the future to prevent Windows 8.1 from automatically installing new drivers, see

This is the best way so you are self in control to do or don't a driver update
