Wouldn't this be a fun experiment?

A whole wall of Magnepans? If I had the money I'd try it. Talk about a broad sound! (Bipolar to boot!) :D

I used to sell Maggies when I worked at a local HiFi shop. GREAT speaker! I don't know about their use in organs, though. Matching up a good sub to those things can be tricky.

They are also EXTREMELY unforgiving. You feed it a bad recording/sample, it will spit it out at you and make you wish you'd thought twice. Give it perfection, and it will reproduce perfection!

Plus, you dang near need an arc welder of an amp to power those things properly.

I do love them.

Drew,

I was also a Magnapan dealer years ago. They are great speakers (I have MG IIIa's as the front channels in my home theatre and they double as rear speakers with Hauptwerk). Did you ever meet Jim Winey?

Joe, unfortunately, I did not. We opted for Maggies over Martin Logans in that shop. I can't say enough good things about them, but man, you have REALLY got to be particular with those things, or they will just eat you alive. I LOVED them for small, intimate, live, 2-channel acoustic recordings.
