Hello everyone. I wanted to post some updates.
The electricians have just about finished up the wiring for the speakers, and I plan on spending the next several days getting all 48 of the Behringer monitors up there and wired up.
I opted for putting them on shelves, mounted to the brick wall, slightly above the top of the wooden panels.
I will post some updated pictures once they are up.
We also built some large speaker-cloth screens that will cover the entire speaker box, making it look like one big cloth-wrapped box.
Here are some additional pictures of various things throughout the build over the last several months.....
Seeing that many Behringer monitors at one time was overwhelming!
I used the MGB MINI LCDs and a cool-looking bezel I found online.
I mounted the MIDI hardware to black acrylic and attached that to the Allen's original slide-out trays in the belly of the console.
The new computer. 8-Core, 64GB RAM
I reused the "setterboard" from the old organ but it controls various Hauptwerk functions. The left setterboard will control stand/pedal lights, and theater organ traps/toys.
I built a rack out of spare parts - free rack rails from the scrap pile at work, and a few pieces of wood. Saved us $500
The console taking shape.... (still needs a bit of touching up in the finishing... I am going to let someone else take care of that since I'm not great at it.)
I will post more pictures of the speaker setup in the next few days as it comes together!
Also, I went all the way back through this thread and updated most of the picture links so they work again.
