Hi, Eric. They played fine for me, using Safari on a Mac.

Perhaps I can't recall correctly, but I believe Media Player 9 and below won't play 24-bit 48KHz wav files.
Have you tried Media Player 11 or even Media Player Classic found here:

I'll bet that's it Bob. I know my media player is old and the free downloaded generic ones probably won't handle the 24/48. I realize now the first set were 16 bit.

I'll download the player you mention when I get home.

Thanks,
Eric

I give up. I tried both classic and 11 and both come up with the same error of a missing codec. Going to the Microsoft website just tells me there is a problem with the installation of the audio interface. This just hasn't been a good week or two for me computerwise. I'm still trying to get 3.22 installed with a weird problem that just hasn't been solved. I even have the computer at work now with my IT boss trying to help me figure it out. So no organ playing for me right now :( . Oddly enough though both 3.22 will install on my work computer, where I did the download, and the media play will play the 24/48 files. Just my home computers don't want to cooperate :? .

The Eminence speakers are being burned-in right now. Since the pastor is on vacation this week and there is nothing going on at the church for a few days, I decided to hook up a CD changer to the Behringer A500 amp driving the Beta 12lta's and set it on continuous repeat. I just thought some of you might be amused... I know the cleaning crew certainly is :)... by some of the CD selections I chose

The Beatles (various selections from 1962-1966)
Chicago Transit Authority (remastered)
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue (+some other tracks) (remastered)
Electric Light Orchestra - Out of the Blue (remastered)
Harry Connick Jr. (various Big Band selections)
Mark Knopfler - Golden Heart
Moody Blues - Days of Futures Past (remaster)

Now I just need to remember to turn it off before Sunday morning.

Go for it!

When I used to practice in a church, years ago, I would play anything but hymns and even the tune for "The Red Flag".

Alan.
