My MAudio 1010LT has microphone inputs using two balanced and there is no 48 volt phantom supply.

Hello David,

You may try this USB XLR interface - http://www.mxlmics.com/microphones/usb/MicMate-Classic/

Available here for instance - http://www.amazon.co.uk/MXL-Mate-Classi ... ywords=MXL

It provides you everything you need, and you can connect it directly to your computer.

Arc update to Version 2.2. is released.
I hope this update wil fix the save bug for the second instance of Arc, in a multichannel setup.

Hello Doug

In a former post you told that you purchased Arc already. Have you used it in your multichannel setup already or do you encounter problems. You can use multiple instances of Arc but only saving the other channels is suffering from a bug. It is just a few mouseclicks before starting to play to correct this.

Jan,
I have not as yet installed it. I've been spending time experimenting with blending in some of my Ahlborn Archive stops into the pipes / Hauptwerk mix. The Velesovo set blends remarkably with my pipework (Gt. & Pos)
The swell however is stand alone HW and suffers a lack of presence when compared with the hybrid divisions where I use the duplicate HW equivalent stops as shadows to the real pipes. The mixed result is still a wet sound, but a closer listening environment. I'm using the Archive stops as if they were the real pipes in the swell with very pleasing results. The swell now sounds
"closer" and right for the mix.

A question. Does ARC add latency?
Thanks,
Doug

In my specific case where I'm working under OS X (Mac), Arc 2 has no impact on latency.

Hello Doug
I have't experienced any latency increase in my setup but Lauwerk did notice a increase
See former post in this forum. It all depends on your hardware and soundcard you are using

A new version of Arc is comming soon.

Arc 2.5 has a new MEMS mic. which gives a more precise measurment and as result a better correction of your room.
