Cable Help!

PostTue Aug 21, 2012 9:40 am

I just got the free version to try before buying more. I am trying to hook up my Dell laptop running Win XP Pro to my Rodgers Trillium 787 organ. I have the audio cables needed, but I need to know where I can get (and what brand) of cable/interface to connect my laptop with USB port to my Rodgers MIDI in and MIDI out. I want to get going! The first cable I bought from Guitar Center did not work at all.

This one works really well, and is very inexpensive. They're kind of hard to find, since they're apparently not making them anymore. There are a few left here:

Hi, possibly you have already looked into it, but just to be sure: have you configured your MIDI ports correctly? Do you see your MIDI cable in the MIDI ports screen and have you ticked the corresponding checkbox under "console MIDI in"?

See page 137 of the user guide.
