You use Hauptwerk to install the RAR file. If you downloaded it correctly the RAR extension will show. Otherwise you need to rename the file to what Hauptwerk expects.

Never open the RAR file yourself.

In Hauptwerk, go to File>>Install Organ or Temperament. Then browse to the folder where you downloaded the files. Click one of them to start the installation process (this may take a while) and follow the instructions. If any new questions arise, feel free to ask.

Hello Ronald,

[Topic moved here.]

To add to the above replies, the 'Component installer' section in the main Hauptwerk user guide (on the Help menu in Hauptwerk, pages 170-172 in the current v4.1.1 version) covers how to install sample sets.
Best regards,
Martin.

thanks top you all for the info and it works.
Very helpful. i installed the free trial small version of Kampen (Bovenkerk) and what a amazing sound, wow!!
In spite of a part of the keyboard functions is it overwhelming!
I am completely convinced; i am going to buy hauptwerk asap!
Thanks for the help!

Several suppliers of samples have their own descriptions. some times "X-loop", the name of the church, sometimes more than one file to install, confusing. Sometimes you get the keyboard immediately (st Annne) otherwise you must search for it in the menu. A standaard protocol should be nice...

Thanks again, Ronald.

If you order a licence for Hauptwerk you'll be sent the necessary Hauptwerk USB key, and also a DVD with the current version of the Hauptwerk software on it. However, since the software on the DVD is identical to that on our downloads page, there's no need to (re)install it if you already have the current version of Hauptwerk installed (which is v4.2.0, since yesterday's new release). Once you have the USB key you just need follow the instructions that are included with (install its drivers, attach it, enable the licence within it, restart Hauptwerk) to turn your existing installation into a licensed one.

Which country are you in?

You can either order directly from us (Milan Digital Audio), in which case it would be shipped from the U.S.A. (additional import taxes and/or VAT may apply upon delivery to other countries), or from a reseller in your country: https://www.hauptwerk.com/store/online-store/
Best regards,
Martin.

Shipping from us usually takes around 2-3 business days via Fed Ex. You need to contact a reseller of your choice in Europe to see what shipping times from them are and what their stock situation is.
