No Pipe/Rank Voicing Function for Flute Bass 8 - St. Anne's

PostTue May 11, 2010 7:28 pm

Hi Folks,

I have a standing wave with the lowest Bb which I absolutely have to voice down with all pedal/manual 16s and 8s. The Pipe and Rank Voicing function has proved amazing. However, for the St. Anne's Moseley sample set, the Flute Bass 8 does not appear in the list. Thus, I cannot voice this stop. Has no one noticed this yet, or is my software defective?

Thanks for your help.

Hello Michael,

Look at the top octave of the Sub Bass 16. The Flute Bass 8 is unified from this rank so the voicing screen Sub Bass 16 handles the entire rank. To voice the low B for the Flute Bass just go up one octave from the bottom B of the Sub Bass 16 and that should get the note you need.

I hope that helps.

Thanks, Brett. I knew there was a simple answer - somewhere.
