controling organ pistons from my midi organ and screen size.

PostWed Sep 01, 2010 11:26 am

I need a bit of help please , ive downloaded the Hauptwerk sofware togther with a sample set (paramount 310)
ive manged to figure out and adjust my channels 1 , 2 and 3 to control the great accomp and pedal however .. from my midi chart on my organ is says that the 16 presets send out on channel 16 .. im finding it hard to trigger these to work the pistons on the paramount organ .is there any chance of any giving me instruction on which setting to use in the hauptwerk to adjust this ..

also im using a 15.4 inch laptop and im only able to see the 3 keyboards and the tops of the swell pedals but not the bass pedals .. i take it this must be screen resolution ?

id be grateful of any help .. Thanks

Here is another guide for connecting MIDI to Hauptwerk and the Paramount:

http://www.paramountorganworks.com//downloads/Virtual%20Theatre%20Organ%20-%20Hauptwerk%20MIDI.pdf

The Paramount is set to a screen resolution of 1280x1024. Hauptwerk does not currenly support dynamic screen re-sizing, so the lower resolution of your laptop is causing part of the image to be unviewable. An external monitor is your best bet. If you decide to go that route, you should consider one of the new inexpensive touchscreens such as the HP L2105tm which has native resolution of 1920x1080.

Good luck and we hope you enjoy the Paramount 310.
