Is There A Jamb Toggle Key Command?

PostTue Aug 23, 2011 1:21 am

So far, I'm using H4 on one 28" screen. Can I either toggle the stop jamb window, or open two windows on the same monitor? Also, I have a second 19" monitor attached, can I put one stop jamb window there as well?

Thanks - Robert

Hello Robert,

In order to use multiple console windows you need to use the Advanced Edition of Hauptwerk. The Free Edition and Basic Edition only allow a single console display. You can see the differences between editions and their features at http://www.hauptwerk.com/learn-more/editions/.

You can run the Advanced evaluation edition to see how this can work for your set up.

I hope that answers your question.

It does indeed, Brett! Thank you.

Is there then a key command for toggling between left and right jambs?

Many thanks for your reply,

Robert

Hello Robert,

There aren't any keyboard short-cuts for changing the virtual console display page (tab) that's selected for any given console window, so you need to use the mouse (or touch-screen) for that.

Most sample sets have a single 'overview' or 'console' page/tab that includes all virtual controls, so that people can use the sample set effectively with just a single monitor.
Best regards, Martin.

Robert,

You can use a problem like Autohotkey. With Autohotkey you can record a macro that will playback by pressing a key for example. This macro will reply the moves of the mouse and toggle the views/jambs.

You don't really need to know how to program, there is a record feature that will record what you do (mouse moves, key touch etc.)

I'm using it for my DMR (digital music rack - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4158&p=28037&hilit=digital+music+rack#p28037 ) controlling Adobe Acrobat and flipping pages with a switch (X-keys).

Good luck
François

Thanks, François!
At the moment I'm running it on a Mac, but will probably be running a PC when I interface it to my console.
Best,
RW
