Interpreting SwitchState data log files

PostThu May 03, 2018 6:34 am

Greetings to explorers of native ODFs

Following someone else's SwitchLinkage architecture is quite tricky for me but the log file feature helps a lot.

I have not however been able to find any explanation of switch id entries outside the 0-999999 range. e.g I see entries like:
Code: Select all
21843982   2004321   SWLK   33060   0   N   Y   1

Where the "cause" 33060 is one of my switches. But what is 2004321? There are lots of values linked in the form 200xxxx and I cannot recognize the xxxx values as relating to anything I have.

TIA

John

Switch IDs and other object IDs greater than 999999 are internal objects that Hauptwerk generates for its own functioning (e.g. as part of its combination system and master couplers). They can just be ignored.

Brett - thank you for this clarification. Excel filters will be my friend!
