Contrebombarde Contre-Bombarded

PostTue Aug 28, 2012 10:05 am

What has happened to our beloved Contrebombarde site?
I just et messages saying it is 'an attack' site. What ever next?
What is being done to sort this out?

I exect this is because people who use Windows operating systems have stuck a neat virus there, but sensible people who use Mac or Linux don't need to worry.

I hope we can all use Contre Bombarde again soon.

Just in case you think it can't happen, the largest virus incident in Oxford University's network in the last five years was caused by a Mac virus, not a Windows one. It was more trouble than it needed to be because of the number of Mac users who refused to take precautions, even after having been infected.

That's why I use Linux most of the time when I am on line. In fact I only use Windows when I have to - to play Hauptwerk. I must admit though that the next box I ever buy will be a powermac with the biggest RAM it will ever take. Guess what it will be used for....

Hi Guys,

For updates on the state of Contrebombarde.com, please refer to viewtopic.php?f=20&t=10814

(For the record, this one has been a Joomla/Apache problem....)

Cheers,

Darryl
