Let's keep CB afloat!

Postby adri » Mon May 11, 2015 10:47 am

Have you seen the pop-up window asking for donations to keep CB running in good condition?

I have made a contribution and would like to encourage all posters to do likewise.

It's a fantastic site, where you can make all kinds of discoveries and learn a lot from your fellow Hauptwerkians, and also listen to the sounds of new sample sets.

I'm extremely grateful this site exists!

So did I, twice by accident.
I got no reply back on the donation, though it was twice subtracted from my bank account.
Perhaps a confirmation from CB on receiving would be an idea..

I donated. I hope everyone who uses the site contributes at least something.

I didn't know CB was sinking!?
Is there a 501C3 organization involved so that the 'donations' are tax deductable?

Thank you all for your support.

We hope that you've been enjoying the new features on the site and the content that we've been adding in "the Barde".

Your support is going to help greatly as we continue to improve the site and give it a new hosting home as we approach the practical limit of hosting a site this large on the service we currently use.

Regarding the double charge, I'll have Raymond look at that next week. Sounds like something crashed for you because you should have been redirected to a thank you page.

Regarding the tax implications of your support, we don't qualify for tax-free status. Being that we're in Canada, chances are that even if we had tax-free status, that would not extend into the USA... the joys of international finance.

Once again, thank you for your support.
