Hello All,
Just wanted to let everybody know about a new feature at http://www.contrebombarde.com.
Now you can keep tabs on your favorite sample sets and sample set producers with unique RSS feeds.
In other words, if you just love the Ducroquet Cavaille-Coll set, you can be alerted anytime someone uploads a piece with that set.
1) Click on the orange RSS symbol beside the name of the sample set in the comment page for each piece.
2) Once the feed appears, you can click on "subscribe" and that link will be added to your RSS feeds
Similarly, you will soon be able to do the same with specific sample set producers.
Also watch out for other features coming in the next day or two:
1) the option to specify MIDI or live performance
2) little picture icons to denote users who have uploaded photos.
I should also note that there is also a contrebombarde newsletter signup on the page. For those who joined before July 24th you are automatically on the list. If you want to be removed, when the first one goes out, there will be a link for you to login and remove yourself from the list.
We were lookin at the numbers yesterday. 15% of Contrebombarde members actually upload a piece. And just under 1/3 of members have made one or more comments. That's great stuff. Keep it up.
Darryl
BTW - Rob Stefanussen needs some kudos cuz it certainly wasn't me that made all of those changes. And thanks to Richard Sung for implementing the mailing list.
