audio problems when playing some pieces

PostThu Nov 26, 2009 12:50 pm

Hi all
apologies if this has been dealt with before. When trying to play some pieces the audio is distorted. On other pieces it is fine, I have not yet been able to find a pattern behind this strange phenomonen. BTW I am using Win2k with FireFox 2.0.0.20.

If I dowload the piece onto Hard-disk and play the downloaded file via Win MediaPlayer everything is fine - the problem is only when trying to play directly from the ContreBombarde page. Not a major problem, just awkward.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Hi Eddie,

This is a known issue when using Flash Player 10 to play MP3s which are encoded >44100Hz. I would recommend that you download the distorted recordings to disk and play them locally has you have found.
