Labeling of Live recordings

PostMon Nov 22, 2010 12:09 pm

While appreciating the additional info, I don't like the red emphasized labels too.

Most contributions are live recordings, so why not only indicating MIDI performances, but please not in that emphasized way?

This could for example be something like that:
Symphonia to Cantata 12, BWV 012a MIDI

For example:

Nun komm der Heiden Heiland, BWV 661 MIDI
Bach, J. S. Baumhoer organ of Bielefeld-Stieghorst Baroque jocr 11/28/10
Nun komm der Heiden Heiland, BWV 660 MIDI
Bach, J. S. Velesovo Baroque jocr 11/28/10
Nun komm der Heiden Heiland, BWV 659 MIDI
Bach, J. S. Baumhoer organ of Bielefeld-Stieghorst Baroque jocr 11/28/10

I have pleaded for this with Darryl to no avail. I stopped short of begging though :(
My other fervent request is for some indication of which file is playing when listening to a page full.
Apparently this is not under the complete control of the Contrebombarde moderators.
But Contrebombarde is still a great service to the organ community and provides hours of listening enjoyment.
