The Perfect Hymn?

PostThu Mar 10, 2011 2:06 am

Hello All,

I have just uploaded a demo of the surround version of the Caen Cavaillé-Coll sample set to contrebombarde. I have used a different recording set-up here (all internal to computers---digital all the way---no multiple speakers this time). The explanation is given on the Concert Hall web page.

The music played is what I consider to be the perfect hymn: " Wenn wir in höchsten Nöten sein."

Hello All,

I have just uploaded another demo of the surround version of the Caen Cavaillé-Coll sample set to contrebombarde. I have used the same set-up as before, except here we have an example of the Caen organ sounding as though it is in a much less reverberant space. . . a smaller hall.

The music played is a real gem by Handel.
