St Anne's Moseley with Reverb: Wow!

PostWed Jul 20, 2011 7:25 am

Simon Harinck has uploaded a terrific piece to CCH, played on St. Anne's Moseley, but post-processing with Reaper, FreeVerb, and the IR file of the York Cathedral.

Very impressive. I've been using St Anne's quite a lot too. Brett has done a great job with the resampling.
Best wishes,
Marcus

Is it all on the same PC as HW? If so does it consume a lot of RAM? It sounds magnificent!

Is there a way to use the York Cathedral IR that is mentioned in this thread with HW? I downloaded the IR from the mentioned web site and could not find a way to install it with HW. This may be because it is a .wav form file. Any help would be appreciated. Ed

Ed

To use the York Cathedral IR with Hauptwerk you need two items. First you need a VST Host such as Reaper and then you need a convolution reverb plug in such as Freeverb mentioned above. To get the concept, review the Hauptwerk 4.0 manual beginning on page 183 (assuming you are using a Mac).

After that post your questions and those of us that have done this will help guide you.

Bill
