Why are there 2 Caens on ContreBombarde?

PostSun Sep 04, 2011 8:22 pm

Good morning everyone!
Sorry for asking if the question has been answered already, but a quick forum search proved fruitless.
I'd like to know why there are 2 Caens in the Upload Form @ ContreBombarde. What's the difference between Caen - St. Etienne and Cavaillé-Coll Caen, if there is one?

Thank you in advance,
Regards, florianf

The name is the only difference.. I think it is just a small mistake.

Not even a mistake.
The church is St. Etienne in the city of Caen, France.
The organ was built by the company named Cavaillé-Coll.

Ok. I have combined the two organ IDs.

Thanks for pointing this out. I don't always know which are the same organs when people write in the names themselves. So there are sometimes duplicates.
