My new old organ console

Hello
This summer, I've found by chance several pieces of wood in an antiquarian shop.
They were all covered by dust, coming from a chapel in a castel, a little altar with only 3 sides.
The boards are made of oak, about 200 years of age.
I immediatly thought : It could make a great organ case !
I was lucky about the size, the console fits exactly inside the furniture, but I wsn’t sure at all !
Now, I’m very pleased about the result !
Next step : I must find a church to put it in, or a castle !

That is a fine reuse of the old wood. I'm beyond impressed, actually quite moved by the result. Also like the way the room is set up. It's a striking contrast with the modern room but I wouldn't be looking to find it a new home.

Very striking, meant in a good way. Really an eye catcher, and no doubt, a one of a kind. Thanks for sharing.

Very curious about your foot piston set-up. Would love to know how it is all connected.

And what is the purpose of the small internal keyboard on the shelf behind the manuals?

Hello all, and thank you for your comments.

About your question, a closer picture is better than long explanations...

It seems bad quality "DIY" but it works !
