Getting Closer to Finish Line

PostFri Aug 17, 2012 2:58 pm

I can't believe that it's been almost 2 months since my unfinished MIDI Classic minimal console arrived. What with unbearable heat, then rain and humidity, along with two out-of-town trips, I finally have had some time to work. Below are progrees pictures up to this point.

(1) Table stained, finished and assembled

(2) Rear view with optional back (back not stained yet)

(3) Keyboards and homemade keycheeks

(4) Monitors and temporary nameboard with 32 lighted tilt tabs

(5) The nameboard will be remade with 24 lighted tilt tabs and 4 2-line LCD screens shown in drawing

Looking good, Ollie. Nearing the finish line as in the just past Olympics?,

Those key cheeks look great, good job. BTW, where is the source for the music rack light?

Thanks Ed. Here's a link to the website. They are rather expensive, but really beautiful.
Click on the Organ Light tab.
